The village of Compton Dando, nestles within the quiet North East corner of the old Somerset county boundary.

Compton Dando is a small village on the River Chew in the Chew Valley. Historically the village had strong connections to Bath Abbey, and Wells Cathedral and also played an important part in the history of improving the process of cheese making.

Compton Dando has lots of events (if you are interested in helping out or have some ideas please contact the CDCA). If you are just coming to visit, the village has a pub and a village hall for hire. There is also an abundance of pretty walks.
