DESCRIPTION:The Village Community Association will be holding their AGM on Tuesday 22 Oct at 7.30pm in the village hall.\nThere will be a guest speaker – TBA\nThe election of the three officers [chair\, treasurer and secretary] and members to the financial committee will take place on the evening. SUMMARY:Craft Day
DESCRIPTION:Come along and join in a a relaxed day to work on your own project\, try others and share your skills. Craft Day £8 including lunch and cake.  Contact Harriette hdottridge@hotmail.com to book.\nLunch will be vegetarian of home made soup\, home made bread\, butter\, cheeses\, hummus for those can’t eat cheese\, fruit. Some people are kind enough to bring or donate cakes or biscuits. Tea\, coffee and herbal teas available thanks to the Community Association to whom all profits from these days are given\, to support our village and villagers. Free parking is in the road outside and payment can be made on the day in cash \nBring your craft with you\, or let me know if you would like to try or want help with any of the following: spinning\, weaving\, knitting\, crochet\, felting as there are regulars who do any or all of these and we just need to bring the appropriate equipment. Everyone is happy to share their knowledge and many people simply bring what they are doing to do it in company with like-minded people. No pressure! If you would like me to I can also bring my wood block printing kit with some blank tea towels for you to have a go at (cost £2.50). You don’t need to have done this before as it is easy to pick up and make good presents. Feel free to contact me with any queries.
