Bluebell walk

St Mary’s Church organised a walk for villagers to view the bluebells. The walk was led by Ron Waker and took a large group of walkers, but only one dog, Oban, along the river towards Keynsham and then up to Fairy Hill corner and across to the top to Bluebell Woods where we all ooo’d and aaah’d over the fantastic bluebells gently swaying in the sunshine.

We, of course, then returned to the church to sample the delicious cakes and have the obligatory cup of tea!

Thank you to Ron for leading the walk and Joy and Jenny for organising the afternoon and to all the helpers who made it possible. Around £170 was raised.
