With energy bills rising and temperatures dropping, Zero Carbon Compton (ZCC) have secured some grant funding to provide a number of home energy surveys for the village.
The home energy surveys will be conducted by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and are a great way to find out how to keep your energy bills as low as possible.
The surveys (which need to be conducted in winter) will use thermal imaging to show up cold spots throughout a property, so you can easily see if there are any problems to fix to help keep heat in your home and reduce your bills! We have a small budget available for quick fixes like draft proofing at the time of the survey too.

We just wanted to let you know that we will soon be in touch to see who is interested in having a survey and help you get one booked in. We don’t have funds to get every house surveyed, but we’re hoping to help those houses which need it the most.
We do have our own thermal imaging camera too, which is available to be borrowed, so if you’re interested in using that yourself please get in touch with us at zerocarboncompton@gmail.com
