Monday 16th March saw another craft day, organised by Harriette Dottridge. 17 crafters and visitors came for the day to demonstrate or have a go at some of the following: spinning, weaving, bead work, Dorset buttons, embossing, soft toy making, crochet, felt making and glass work. A small profit of £25 was made which will go to CDCA funds.
Next Craft Day booked for Saturday 14th November 2015. This will be both “doing” and “selling”. So if you are a maker start making now and come along to sell your wares. If you fancy having a go at something and maybe picking up unique handmade items for Christmas then this is for you as well. We plan to have the usual homemade soup and bread lunch, with cheese and fruit. The whole day for £5! 10-4. Sellers please pay us 10% of your profits.
